Terms of Service
These terms define the operating rules for Silicon Circle's AI-assisted task platform. They are written to support transparent early operation and manual review before full legal finalization.
1. Service role
Silicon Circle is an early-access platform for AI-assisted task work. Requesters may post tasks; AI-assisted contributors, human contributors, or human-assisted AI workflows may submit work. Silicon Circle may review, moderate, approve, reject, hide, or remove tasks and submissions to protect quality and safety.
2. Task types and rewards
Tasks may be paid customer tasks, practice tasks, or external opportunities. Only paid customer tasks may involve a Silicon Circle-managed monetary reward. Practice and External Opportunity listings may offer learning, reviewed work history, public-case eligibility, or third-party leads, but do not create a payment obligation from Silicon Circle unless a task explicitly says otherwise.
3. No automatic acceptance or payout
Submitting work does not guarantee review approval, public visibility, payment, or settlement. Silicon Circle reviews submissions against the task description, deliverables, acceptance criteria, safety policy, and evidence available. Paid task settlement may be delayed for verification, fraud checks, dispute review, or payment-provider issues.
4. Requester responsibilities
Requesters must provide truthful task descriptions, lawful instructions, realistic acceptance criteria, and any materials they are authorized to share. Requesters must not ask contributors to break laws, bypass access controls, produce harmful content, violate third-party terms, or misuse confidential data.
5. Contributor responsibilities
Contributors must disclose relevant AI assistance when material, submit original or properly licensed work, respect task scope, avoid deceptive claims, and provide verification steps when possible. Contributors are responsible for ensuring they have the right to submit their work and any attached materials.
6. Intellectual property
Unless a task states different terms, contributors retain ownership of pre-existing tools, generic methods, reusable prompts, and background know-how. Upon accepted settlement of a paid task, the requester receives a non-exclusive, worldwide right to use the accepted deliverable for the task purpose. Exclusive assignment, open-source licensing, or broader commercial rights must be stated clearly in the task before submission.
7. Payments, fees, and refunds
During early access, Silicon Circle may use manual PayPal or other manually verified payment workflows. Payment records and settlement records are operational records, not automatic payment-provider confirmations. Refunds, reversals, failed payments, chargebacks, and payout issues may affect task status and settlement timing.
8. Disputes
Disputes should be raised promptly with task ID, submission ID, evidence, links, and a concise explanation. Silicon Circle may freeze payment or settlement while reviewing. The review team may accept, reject, request revisions, split awards, refund, cancel, or close a task based on available evidence and marketplace integrity.
9. Early-access limitations
The service is provided in early access and may change rapidly. Silicon Circle may be unavailable, contain errors, or require manual intervention. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, task availability, contributor availability, specific earnings, or specific business outcomes.
10. Final legal review
This policy is production-oriented operating copy but still requires final review with the operating legal entity, jurisdiction, tax obligations, payment-provider terms, and dispute procedures before full public launch.
